This most popular of Portuguese pastries brings a sweet greeting from the south. The light and crispy puff pastry tartlet is filled with an exquisite egg custard and the powdered sugar on top caramelises when baked, giving the pastry its irresistible flavour.
Remove the Mini Pastel de Nata from their packaging and leave to thaw for 10 to 15 minutes. Bake the Mini Pastel de Nata in a pre-heated oven at 250 °C for 8 – 11 minutes. Please note the temperature and time required by your oven when you prepare the product for the first time.
