
Viennese apple strudel slices – a light strudel treat but lower in fat
The original Viennese apple strudel made of filo pastry not only tastes home-made, it is also particularly light. No wonder, because it is made of sun-ripened fruit and contains 50% less fat than puff pastry. The individual slices are already pre-baked, making them very easy to prepare.
Informations
Allow the slices to defrost for approx. 1 hour. Then bake in a preheated oven at approx. 160°C (fan-assisted oven) for approx. 30 to 35 minutes. Or in a preheated combi steam oven (fan-assisted oven) at 160°C for 30 to 35 minutes. In the microwave the slices can be heated from frozen for approx. 3 minutes per slice at 600 watts.
